The Service Selection Board of Jammu and Kashmir had released a notification (Advertisement No. 01 of 2021) on 3^rd February 2021 for the post of Junior Engineer Civil. There are 65 vacancies available for Junior Engineer Civil under the Jal Shakti department and 144 in PWD. The online submission of applications started on 24^th February 2021 and the process ended on 24^th March 2021. The pay scale for this post is Level 6 Rs.35,400/- to Rs.1,12,400/-. JKSSB JE CIVIL Exam Pattern – Important Points

• The Examination will have Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. 

• The questions will be in  English only. 
• A negative mark of 0.25 marks is applicable for each wrong answer and multiple answers to one question. 
• In due course, after the Exam, the board will release tentative Answer Keys on the board’s official website- www.jkssb.nic.in
• Any representation regarding Answer Keys received within the time limit decided by the Service Selection Board of Jammu and Kashmir at the time of uploading of the Answer Keys will be scrutinized, and the decision of the Board in this regard will be final. 
• No representation regarding Answer keys shall be entertained afterwards.
• Marks scored by candidates in the written examination will be normalized to determine the cut-off marks and the final merit list.

The JKSSB JE Civil Examination Admit Card will be released on the board’s official website about 10-15 days before the examination. The candidates can download their Admit Card once it is uploaded on the website. After downloading the Admit Card, the candidates must read it thoroughly.
