The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is a state-level examination conducted annually by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER). The exam is conducted in order to fill out the vacancy for the requirement of teachers for both primary and upper primary levels. Being a government job recruitment exam, this exam is quite popular in the state, and in order to ace the examination, candidates need to have a look over the previous attempt question papers in order to crack the examination with ease. Eligibility Criteria

Before we get to know about the application form and the process, first and foremost we need to know what the eligibility criteria are, to apply for the REET Exam. The following are the age and educational qualification requirements for the REET exam:

Age Limit:

According to the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, there is no such limit. Candidates of any age group who meet the educational requirements and are Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the exam.

Educational Qualification:

For Level I ( Primary Teacher) 

  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% grades and a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma passed or in the final year (by whatever name known)
  • Passed a two-year diploma in elementary education (under any name) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulation, 2002, with a minimum of 45 per cent mark.
  • Passing or appearing in the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education programme with at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or equivalent) (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% grades and a 2-year Education Diploma passed or appearing in the final year (Special Education).
  • Graduation and a two-year diploma in Elementary Education (under any name) if successfully completed.

For Level II ( Upper Primary Teacher)

  • Graduation and a two-year diploma in Elementary Education (or whatever it was called) were completed.
  • B.Ed. pass or currently enrolled in the last year of bachelor’s degree in education with at least 50% marks in graduation or post-graduate.
  • Graduation with a grade point average of at least 45 per cent and completion of a one-year B.Ed. programme as outlined by the NCTE (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulations.
  • Passed or appeared in the final year of a four-year Bachelor’s degree programme in Elementary Education with at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or equivalent) (B.El.Ed).
  • Passed with a 50% or in the final year of a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
  • Graduation or post-graduation with at least a 50% grade point average and a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) passed or in the last year of B.Ed (Special Education).

Other Important Conditions:

  • Before applying, candidates must have a valid e-mail address.
  • At the time of application, candidates must have a valid and active mobile phone number.
  • To be eligible for the test, candidates must have a minimum score of 60%.

REET Application Fees:

Candidates willing to apply for the REET exam must pay the application fees as follows:

  • For one paper- Rs. 550.
  • For both papers- Rs.750.

REET Application Form

The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers will release the REET Application Form soon on its official website. As per the sources, the Board is likely to release the official notification by the second week of January. The candidates must have a close look at the department’s official website. After the publication of the official notification, the candidates can commence with the application. 

The candidates while filling the application form, must maintain the authenticity of details, in order to avoid any rejections. Also one must be a cent percent sure that he or she is eligible before applying.

Supporting Documents Required For The REET Application Form

Candidates must ensure that they have scanned copies of all required documents on their devices while filling out the REET Application Form on the official website. The lack of any crucial document might result in the immediate denial of the application invite. 1. Scanned copy of passport size photograph

2. Scanned copy of candidate’s signature

3. Scanned copies of Aadhaar Card, Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card, Voter ID Card, or other such documents

4. 10th Class Certificate with the date of birth mentioned.

5. 10th/12th Class marks sheet.

6. Domicile/Nativity Certificate issued by authorized Govt official.

7. Caste Certificate issued by authorized Government official.

8. Scanned copy of Graduation Degree.

9. Scanned copy of Date of Birth certificate

10. Scanned copy of experience letter (if required)

Steps To Fill The REET Application Form

The REET Application Form is only available online through the conducting body’s official website. Candidates will be asked to fill out details such as personal information, contact information, educational qualifications, address proof, experience (if required), and other such info on the application form. The processes to fill out the application form on the official portal are outlined below. Candidates must go through the same process in order to gain a better understanding.

Step 1 The candidate must first check the consistency of his/her internet connection and visit the official website of BSER at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in

Step 2  On the homepage, look for the online application link under the “News Update” section and click on it.

Step 3 Click on ‘Register & Generate Fee Challan For REET-2021’ and fill out all of the required information.

After completing the signup process, make a note of your username and password.

Step 4 Continue with filling the REET Application form further

Step 5 Pay the REET application fee to complete the REET application procedure.

Step 6 Collect and save a printout of the fully completed and submitted REET application form for future reference.

No, an Aadhar card number is not required for REET registration; any official ID card can be used.
