Question 1. A mixture contains milk and water, only. When 60 liters of milk is added to the mixture, it becomes 50% of the total mixture while when 100 liters of water is added to the mixture, it becomes 75% of the total mixture. Find the initial quantity of the mixture.

Find the difference between the quantity of oil added and the initial quantity of oil, in the mixture.

If the profit received by ‘B’ at the end of the year is Rs. 12000, then find the total profit received by A, B, and C together.

If ‘A’ reached the destination at 4:00 P.M. and ‘C’ reached the destination at ‘C’ at 12:00 noon, then at what time did ‘B’ reach his destination?

Question 7. Rs. (x + 200), when invested at 15% p.a. for 8 years, gives a simple interest of Rs. (x + 680). Find the amount received when Rs. (x +1000) is invested at 50% p.a.compound interest for two years compounded annually.
