Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, known as SNAP is an entrance exam for admission in 24 MBA programs to 15 Symbiosis Institutes in the country. With this exam becoming more and more competitive, one first needs to focus more on high-scoring areas. And for that, here we are giving you a full roadmap for SNAP VARC Section preparation.

For admission in one of the reputed MBA programs in the country, almost 50,000 students go through SNAP EXAM for 2500 MBA seats in affiliated institutes. SNAP exam has now evolved from a paper-based exam to a computer-based exam. This year, SNAP TEST will be conducted in over 94 cities around India. It is important for getting admission into the MBA program of symbiosis because SNAP SCORE holds a 50% weightage in the final merit preparation. Despite the changes in the pattern of the exam, the exam is expected to be of the same difficulty as last year.

After checking the eligibility requirements. The candidate should can then appear in the exam after payment of the registration fees. Also, a candidate is allowed to appear in the exam, a maximum of 2 times. The highest score of these 2, will be considered for calculation for the final percentile. SNAP Test Sections

SNAP test has in total 3 sections. The latest change in SNAP Exam Pattern, like questions reducing from 120 to 60 and various other changes calls for a more focused and planned preparation. SNAP VARC Section

Verbal Reasoning and Reading Comprehension (VARC), is one of the most important sections of the SNAP Exam. VARC Section Details

(1)   Verbal Ability (VA) – It has in total 5-6 questions. And the syllabus for this section is as follows-

      * Idioms, Phrases, Vocabulary usage. Synonyms, Antonyms, Fill in the Blanks.

      * Correction of Errors in sentences.

      * Jumbled Paragraph.

      * Core Grammar usage – Conditionals, Active Passive, Indirect Narration, etc.

(2)   Reading Comprehension (RC) – It has in total 5-6 questions. And syllabus for this section is as follows-

       * 2 Reading Comprehensions followed by 5-6 questions.

       * Reading comprehension topics are normally based on Facts, Literature, Current Affairs, etc.

       * The questions are directly related to Reading comprehension.

The SNAP VARC Section is of low to moderate difficulty level and comes with a mix of easy to moderately difficult questions.
