Introduction

Hi, I am Monika Meena. I am a physically disabled aspirant. I have done my graduation in B.Sc. in 2016. I have recently cleared both SBI clerk and SBI PO exams in my first attempt.

Brief Description

I started preparing for SBI exams in 2021 only after failing other competitive exams. I started giving mocks along with a friend during the lockdown. It was my first attempt and I finally got a job after 6 years of trying unsuccessfully in other fields. It’s hard for a disabled student to attend offline classes or the library.

Preparation Strategy

For English, I only read the newspaper “The Hindu”. For math, my earlier experience with SSC exams helped me a lot. For GK, it was the toughest one for me, so I only read the last 6 months current affairs through YouTube and other online materials. For reasoning, I started slowly with basics and after 2 months of continuous practice and mocks, I improved a lot. I tried to focus on my strong subjects rather than going for them all.

Tips or advice for the fellow aspirants

Give as many mocks as you can. Do not skip it even for a single day. It is essential for solving questions with speed and accuracy which is a must for bank exams. Properly analyze questions that you missed or attempted incorrectly in tests on a regular basis. Consistency is the key here.
