Success Story of Shubham Sawarn – Cleared RRB PO, IBPS PO

Read the success story of Shubham Sawarn, who set his goals of clearing banking examinations and left no stone unturned to clear some of the prestigious exams like RRB PO & IBPS PO.

Here is his inspiring story:

Hello everyone, I am Shubham Sawarn and I have cleared RRB PO, IBPS PO IN 2017-18 but I have joined RRB PO and at present working in Dakshin Bihar Gramin bank by the amalgamation of Bihar Gramin bank & Madhya Bihar Gramin bank. My success mantra is always to deal with your basics, whenever you have any doubt in your life try to handle it by yourself. Now irrespective of that I want to share something about my preparation:-

Reasoning: When I was an aspirant I had set this target that with all these sections (GA, QUANT, REASONING, ENGLISH) I have to be very good in at least two of them. After that, I gave my best in Maths and Reasoning as they were already my strong points. In reasoning, you have to be very confident while attempting any puzzle. If you are attempting it you have to crack it. Under this, some inference/assumption-based questions are also there where you will have to put yourself there and then think.

Maths: Under this section, if your basics are too strong then you will not face any problem while solving DI. Everyone says my basic is too strong because I know every formula and all things but sometimes formula actually doesn’t work and this is what happens in the case of DI which will be asked in the Mains examination. So try to solve miscellaneous questions by both (in short trick as well as explanatory) ways so that short trick will help you in prelims and explanatory way will help you at the time of mains.

English: For English go with English newspapers/magazines/financial editorials because banking English is based on comprehensive and not on grammar so you have to be very good in vocabulary too.

GA: Under this section, there is nothing fixed. Sometimes IBPS asks 6-8 months back questions, sometimes only static awareness and sometimes recent portion…. so you can’t be confident about what will they ask. This portion is really big so my advice is to read or attempt daily quizzes from Oliveboard. When you are done with your prelims then start preparing for GA from monthly or weekly free Pdf so that they will help you in scoring good marks.

As my advice, if you belong to General Category, always try to score (15-20) marks more in mains examination so that you will be very much confident that you will definitely clinched the title of #PO. So all the best to all the aspirants who are part of Oliveboard family, they always provide good preparation materials for you.
