The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board holds a state-level examination to employ qualified applicants for teaching positions in government schools at the primary and secondary levels. It is an offline examination conducted every year. A total of 1894 vacancies consisting of 390 vacancies of principal and 1504 vacancies of UP assistant teacher have to be filled. The exam is conducted in a single stage for Assistant Teacher and in two stages each consisting of a single paper for the post of Principal. To prepare for the Super TET Exam, candidates must first learn the Super TET Syllabus. The Super TET selection procedures for the positions of Assistant Teacher and Principal are very different. UP Super TET Selection Process

Super TET Selection Process: Assistant Teacher 

The process involves two stages

1. Written Test
2. Final Merit List Creation

The exam pattern for the Assistant Teacher is given in the table below:

Final Super TET Selection Process: Assistant Teacher 

The final selection procedure for the SUPER TET (UP Assistant Teacher) 2021 includes a 10% weightage for total percentages acquired in high school, intermediate, graduation, and teacher training certificates. It also consists of 60% weightage for the Super TET written test. As a result, the overall cut-off will be calculated using the weighted average of the written exam and academic grades.

Super TET Selection Process: Principal 

The process involves two stages

• Only the Principal will be assigned to the Educational Management and Administration Section.
• For the Principal Post exam, the paper will be based on Education Department related Acts, Recommendation, Rules, government order education policy, Order, Commission/Committee, scheme,  etc.

Super TET Cut-Off Marks

The UP Board decides the qualifying marks of the UP Super TET Exam. Cut-off Marks depend upon various factors such as Vacancy, Number of Applications, Difficulty of the exam, etc.  Based upon the last few years, the Cut-off Marks have been given below in the following table:
