APPSC Group 2 Exam And Recruitment Process

The APPSC Group 2 Exam comprises 3 stages of selection. One has to clear all the 3 stages to clear the APPSC Group 2 Exam. 

1. Preliminary Exam
2. Main Exam 
3. Interview Round   

The preliminary exam and the Mains Exam are written tests and the interview round is an oral test. These tests are then followed by the document verifications and the Physical standard verification tests. The candidate who clears all the above-mentioned stages will be called for the final round.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality: 

The person applying for the exams should be an Indian citizen. 

2. Age Criteria: 

The candidate must be between 18 to 42 years of age to be eligible to apply for the APPSC Group 2 exam. However, there is some relaxation provided to some of the reserved candidates like:

3. Educational Criteria:

Most of the positions accept Bachelor’s degrees from a recognized university as their pre-requisite criteria to attempt the examination. Some positions have special requirements like Extension Officer require Degree in Arts/Commerce/ Science, Assistant Section Officer (Finance Dept.) requires Bachelors in Maths/Economics or Commerce, Assistant Section Officer (Law Dept.) requires Bachelor’s in Law, and Senior Accountant in Branch-I and Senior Accountant in Branch-II (Category-I) AP Treasuries & Accounts (District) Sub Service requires any degree in mats, commerce or economics.
