Directions(Q.1-Q.5): In the following questions, a sentence has been given in Direct/Indirect speech. Out of the four alternatives suggested, select the one which best expresses the same sentence in Indirect/Direct speech.

Q.1 I said to Pramod, “How did you break your leg?” 

(a) I asked Pramod how he had broken your leg.

(b) I asked Pramod how did you break your leg.

(c) I asked Pramod how he had broken his leg

Q.2 The driver said to the passerby, “Do you know the way to the market
