IIT Bombay Graduate Lands Dream Job with ₹3.67 Crore Placement Offer

One graduate from the 2022-23 batch at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Bombay got a fantastic international job offer with a yearly salary of Rs 3.67 crore during the annual job placements. Another graduate found a job in India with a yearly salary of Rs 1.68 crore, which was the highest among domestic placements.

In total, 16 graduates received job offers with salaries exceeding Rs 1 crore per year, and 65 graduates accepted international job offers in the 2022-23 placement season. These international jobs were offered by various companies from the USA, Japan, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The average salary for all the students who found jobs this season was Rs 21.82 lakhs per year (CTC), which is a small increase compared to the previous year, according to IIT-Bombay’s placement and internship report.
