The Indian Navy has released the notification for the recruitment of the Agniveer Candidates. Aspiring candidates have been waiting for the release of notification. The online application procedure will also start on the 29th of May 2023 and the candidates will be to apply online till the 15th of June 2023. Candidates who will be applying for the recruitment must be aware of the selection process for the Agniveer. Candidates must have all the details regarding the Indian Navy Agniveer Selection Process before starting their preparation journey. We have mentioned below the selection process for all the candidates.

  1. Shortlisting (Computer-Based Online Examination)
  2. Written Examination
  3. Physical Fitness Test
  4. Medical Test

Shortlisting (Computer-Based Online Examination)

All India computer-based examination- INET would be conducted for Shortlisting of candidates. Shortlisting would be based on marks obtained in the Indian Navy Entrance Test. Shortlisting will be carried out in state wise manner. The cut-off marks for shortlisting for the next stage of the selection process may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state-wise manner.

  • Candidates will have a total duration of 60 minutes to complete the test.

Written Examination

Candidates who will be shortlisted in the Computer Based Examination will appear in Stage II which consists of the written examination. After the written test, candidates would need to appear in the physical fitness test and the medical examination.

Physical Fitness Test

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. PFT standard is as follows:-

Medical Examinations

After clearing all the rounds of recruitment, candidates have to appear for the medical examination. In medical examinations, candidates have to meet the medical standards of the Indian Navy. It is mandatory for all candidates to clear this stage of selection. We will provide you with the required height and weight data once it is released officially.

The final result will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written exam and qualifying for the PFT and medical rounds.
