Jaya Verma Sinha Becomes First Female Chairperson of Indian Railway Board

Her tenure in Bangladesh saw the inauguration of the Maitree Express, establishing a vital link between Kolkata and Dhaka. Importantly, she also held the role of Divisional Railway Manager, Eastern Railway, Sealdah Division.
