The eligibility criteria for the post of teacher in KVS requires the candidate to hold a Master’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks, possess a B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university, and have proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English media.

KVS Eligibility Criteria 2023 – TGT Educational Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate with at least 50% marks from a recognized university is required.
  • B.Ed or an equivalent degree from a recognized university is also mandatory.
  • The candidate must have passed the CTET Paper II conducted by CBSE or appear in the CTET.
  • The proficiency to teach in Hindi and English media is also necessary.

TGT(AE) Five years recognize diploma in drawing and painting/sculpture/Graphic Art.
TGT(WE) Electrical Gadgets & Electronics:
three-year diploma after higher Sec. in Electrical Electronic Engineering from a recognized university degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university

KVS Eligibility Criteria 2023 – KVS PRT and KVS Primary Teacher (Music)

KVS PRIMARY TEACHER 1.      Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education2.      Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Govt. of India.
3.      Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English media.
Desirable:  Knowledge of working on a Computer.
KVS PRIMARY TEACHER (MUSIC) (i)      Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University.
(ii)    Competence to teach through English/Hindi medium. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
