PFRDA Assistant Manager Selection Process
The PFRDA Assistant Manager selection process is similar to other regulatory body exams like RBI and NABARD. Candidates who want to join PFRDA as Grade A Officers must go through a complete selection process to show they are fit for the role. The official notification for PFRDA Grade A 2025 has been released. The Phase 1 (Prelims) exam is set for 6th September, and the Phase 2 (Mains) exam is on 6th October. PFRDA Assistant Manager Selection Process 2025
PFRDA Assistant Manager Selection Process is a three tiered process where Phase 1 is the online written screening exam, Phase 2 is the online written exam and Phase 3 is the Interview. The process involves multiple stages, assessing candidates’ skills, knowledge, and suitability for the Assistant Manager role within the organization. The candidates whose names will appear in the final merit list will get the position.

Phase I (Online Screening Examination)
Below are some of the important pointers for Phase I:
- The online screening exam will have two papers. Both papers will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and each paper will be of 100 marks.
- For Paper 1, the duration will be of 60 minutes and for paper 2, the duration will be of 40 minutes.
- Candidates would need to secure separate cut offs in each paper as well as aggregate cut off marks in Phase I to be shortlisted for Phase II.
- There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for the Paper 1 and Paper 2 in Phase I.
- Also note that the Phase I is only qualifying in nature, which means that Phase I marks will be considered only for shortlisting candidates for Phase II.
- All question papers (Phase I, except the Test of English) will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
Phase II (Online Examination)
Below are some of the important pointers for Phase II:
- The online exam will have two papers. Both papers will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and each paper will be of 100 marks.
- For Paper 1, the duration will be of 60 minutes and for paper 2, the duration will be of 40 minutes.
- There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for the Paper 2 in Phase II.
- Paper 1 will be evaluated only of such candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in Paper 2.
- All question papers (Phase II, except the Test of English) will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
- Candidates would need to secure separate cut offs in each paper as well as aggregate cut off marks in Phase II to be shortlisted for Phase III.
Phase III (Interview)
Below are some of the important pointers for Phase III:
- Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- Application-cum-intimation fee shall not be refunded to the candidates not shortlisted for Phase II and Phase III.
- Candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English.
PFRDA Assistant Manager Selection Process – Final Selection
The final selection will be done on the basis of Phase II & Phase III. The marks obtained in Phase II On-line Examination will be allotted a weightage of 85%, while the marks obtained in Phase III Interview will be allotted a weightage of 15%.

Yes, the last stage of the selection process consists of an Interview round. The marks of the interview will be counted for final selection.
Well, there is no limit on the number of attempts. You can appear till you meet the eligibility criteria.
