Punjab University (PU) LLB- Entrance Examination Registration Process

Registration is the first stage of the application process. Follow the steps below to register for the Panjab University Law Entrance Examination.  

Step 1: open the university’s website.

Step 2: Select the New Registration.

Step 4: A registration form will be displayed. Enter the following:

  • Name as in Matric (10th Class) Certificate
  • Date of Birth
  • Mobile Number
  • University from where the candidate graduated
  • Year of passing graduation
  • Graduation Registration Number
  • Email ID
  • Category
  • If an employee of PU or ward of PU employee under Class B or C 

Step 5: A Login ID and Password will be mailed to the registered email ID on successful registration.

PU LLB Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before the PU LLB- Entrance Examination Registration process:

Nationality

The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduation/ equivalent from a recognized university with 45 per cent marks (minimum requirement). Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), PwD and backward category will be given concession in minimum marks. The concession provided is 5 percent. 
  • Language Preference: Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by BCI, in modern Indian language like Punjabi/ Hindi/ Urdu, or a classical language like Sanskrit/ Arabic/ Persian, then the minimum 45 per cent marks will be calculated by taking the percentage of aggregate marks they secured in language papers. 
  • Postgraduates: Candidates having a Master’s Degree in any discipline from a university recognized by BCI will be eligible to apply for the LLB Entrance Exam. 

Age Limit:

There is no lower or upper age limit for applying to the PU LLB Entrance Exam 2022 

Appearing Candidates:

Candidates in the final year of graduation also can apply for PU LLB 2022. Such candidates should have completed their graduation and obtained the certificate before appearing for counseling.
