RSMSSB Computer 2021 Selection Process:

The RSMSSB Computer 2021 recruitment will have the following stages:

• Written examination 
• Interview cum Document Verification 
• Merit List

RSMSSB Computer Cutoff

The commission will release the RSMSSB Computer Cutoff marks only after the process of the examination is over. These are the minimum marks a candidate must attain to qualify for the next stage of the recruitment process. The cutoff marks change every year owing to various factors like the available vacancies, candidates appearing for the exam, difficulty level of the exam, and others.

RSMSSB Computer 2021: Minimum Qualifying Marks

It is mandatory for all the candidates taking the written examination to secure the minimum cut-off marks. The cut-off marks vary category-wise. Hence, individual cut-off marks need to be attained. The qualifying marks for the written examination are:

• BC (Backward classes)- 35%, i.e., 35 marks.
• SC (Scheduled Caste)- 30%, i.e., 30 marks.
• ST (Scheduled Tribes)- 30%, i.e., 30 marks.
• Ex-servicemen- 30%, i.e., 30 marks.
• OC (other caste)- 40%, i.e., 40 marks.

RSMSSB Computer 2021 Examination Pattern: 

The Examination Pattern is given below:

1. The paper will have Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
2. The total number of questions is 100.
3. Each question carries 1 mark.
4. Negative Marking is applicable. 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every wrong answer or multiple answers to one question.
5. No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.

Calculation Of Expected Marks Using The RSMSSB Computer Cutoff

The candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to calculate their estimated marks.

Step 1: Add the sum of correct answers and multiply them by 1.

Step 2: Add the sum of incorrect answers and multiply them by 0.33.

Step 3: Subtract the sum of Step 1 from Step 2. The remaining is your estimated score.

The cut-off marks will be higher if the average performance of the candidates is high. If the average performance of the candidates is low, then the cut-off too will be lower.
