Inspiring Success Story of Deepak Nanda

Hi, my name is Deepak Nanda I am from Balangir, odisha. Recently I have cleared SBI PO in my 1st attempt at 22 yr age. I am briefly sharing my experience with all of you in this blog, regarding my strategy towards the exam.

Deepak Nanda Brief Background 

After I completed my graduation in 2020 I had started my preparation from January 2021 and I was sure that I wanted to be a banker. SBI clerk 2021 was my 1st CBT exam and I was also able to clear that prelims but couldn’t clear mains. After that  I had accelerated my preparation mainly for the SBI PO exam.

Preparation strategy of Deepak Nanda 

i. English – For English I just follow the hindu editorial ‘s vocabulary and personally I don’t think grammar has so much weightage in this exam so I just overview the grammar from a pdf of 100-120 rules of grammar and that’s it.

ii. Quant – For quant I practiced a lot for basic things like speed math, simplification, quadratic equations, number series and data interpretation. Arithmetic is not my strong part so I selectively finished the arithmetic part.

iii. Reasoning – For reasoning I always believe that practice is the only thing which helps to improve this section so I practiced a lot apart from giving 2-3 mocks daily I practiced 4-5 prelims level puzzle and 1 mains level puzzle and reasoning is my strong part so I gave my best efforts to improve it. In the Mains reasoning section helped me alot to clear and scored 15 marks above from cut off which ultimately helped me to clear this entire exam.

Role of Oliveboard

We all know in the banking industry Oliveboard has the best mock test platform also well known for its analysis part so in my opinion any banking aspirants can not ignore this platform and once you join its mock test you are addicted to its great content. And I also came to know about Oliveboard by various toppers and I joined it and it helped me a lot. 

Tips or advice for the fellow aspirants 

First of all there are 2000 ways to clear this exam and this is my  thinking that mock tests are the only thing which helps me to clear this exam giving 40-50 mock for prelims from various platforms  . So according to me giving a mock test is a smart decision rather than anything else and if you thoroughly prepare practice for prelims for so many times you are already preparing for 50%-60% of mains also and again I am saying this is my perception. At the end all the best for your upcoming exams, be sure this is your turn to shine.
