Success Story of Jyoti Prakash – Here we share with you a wonderful journey towards success by Mohini Shaw. A Story about not giving up and passion. Despite experiencing numerous setbacks, she persisted in working hard to pursue her goal. We hope her story will inspire you.
Introduction:
My name is Jyoti Prakash, an optimistic and determined girl. I have done MSc with zoology and also completed my 3yr NCC training as my aim was to be an army officer. In the past, I have represented my state at the national level twice. Now my aim is to become a part of RBI.
Jyoti Prakash Preparation Journey:
Started my preparation in 2020, but everytime I missed the final selection by .5 to 2 marks. And finally by the grace of god and rigorous practice got selection in CRP RRB XI. In my journey Oliveboard played an important role.
Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy:
For prelims, I got strength over basic first by following the arithmetic book. After that, I used to give sectional as well as topic wise mocks of oliveboard. Before 10-15 days of my prelims paper I used to give a full mock. As olivemock is of exact exam level or a little bit tougher it made my preparation well. Same strategy I followed for mains also.
Reasoning – Reasoning was my favourite paper in all three sections. By practising through olive mocks, I got speed in puzzles and seating arrangement. For mains, I used to give mains sectional on a daily basis before prelims and after mains jumped to full length mock.
English – English was easy for me. As passages asked were mostly based on understanding. For the grammatical portion, I used to practise daily. Reading newspapers is what makes English easier.
GK/GA – GA was one of the unpredictable sections and toughest as well to me. For GA, i did daily current affairs and before exams, I used to watch some marathon sessions.
Interview – My interview went well, and got 70 marks in RRB OA, but due to a lead of only 9 marks in written, I couldn’t make it to the final selection.
Role of Oliveboard:
Oliveboard test series and marathon sessions are really helpful. Aspirants can trust oliveboard mock with blindfolded eyes. This year’s mains paper was even easier than olive mock. Just aspirants need to analyse properly.
