TNPSC Exam New Pattern| Check latest updates – Group II & IV revised further

After the introduction of the Mandatory Tamil Eligibility Test recently, TNPSC has now released a notification with changes in pattern and syllabus to accommodate the changes. The notification for TNPSC – Group II and II A will be released shortly. To help you prepare for the exam, we will provide you with the latest exam pattern in this blog. The Pattern and Syllabus of Group II, II-A & IV have been revised further and finalised.

An important point to note is that Tamil paper is qualifying in nature and scoring in nature in different exams. Be mindful of the nature of the exam.

Are the marks of the Tamil language paper considered for final selection?

Tamil paper is just qualifying in nature in certain exams like Group II. In other exams the Tamil paper is scoring. Go through the syllabus carefully.

Tamil paper is descriptive in nature and contains the following sections – Translation, precis writing, comprehension, Hints development, essay writing, letter writing, and basic knowledge of Tamil language
