  • Candidates awaiting results of their graduation examination can apply for the UPSC CAPF Exam. However, their admission will be provisional until proof of passing the examination is provided after qualifying the CAPF exam.
  • Candidates with professional/technical qualifications recognized by the Government as equivalent to a professional and technical degree also meet the academic qualification criteria for Assistant Commandant eligibility.
  • Exceptions exist where candidates without the mentioned qualifications are provisionally qualified by UPSC if they have passed an examination conducted by other institutions whose standards justify UPSC CAPF eligibility.

Number of Attempts

UPSC CAPF Eligibility: Medical Standards

In case any aspirants have undergone a LASIK surgery, then the aspirants must fall under any of the criteria given below:

  • Axial length: 21-26 mm.
  • Corneal thickness: 425 microns
  • Pre LASIK error: 6 D
  • Post-operative: stable period refractive flap
  • Interval- 6 months (post-operative period)

UPSC CAPF Eligibility 2024: Marital Criteria
