A Fresh and Energetic Makeover for Air India Express

Air India Express: Exciting Rebranding Unveiled

In a captivating development, Air India Express, a subsidiary of the Tata Group, has rolled out a dynamic new brand identity that’s turning heads. This vibrant transformation was revealed at Mumbai Airport, marking a pivotal moment in the airline’s evolution.

A Palette Bursting with Energy and Style

The airline’s revamped visual identity boasts a lively and premium color palette. Express Orange and Express Turquoise take the lead as primary colors, while Express Tangerine and Express Ice Blue play supporting roles.

Express Orange embodies the airline’s core values of enthusiasm and agility, radiating the warm essence of India. Meanwhile, Express Turquoise symbolizes the brand’s contemporary style, modern sensibility, and a digital-first approach.

Where Tradition Meets Modern Aviation

The airline’s new branding extends to its aircraft, with the initial Boeing 737-8 models drawing inspiration from traditional Bandhani textile designs. Upcoming planes will feature designs inspired by various traditional patterns like Ajrakh, Patola, Kanjeevaram, and Kalamkari, showcasing India’s rich artistic diversity.

A Vision of Growth and Transformation

Aloke Singh, the Managing Director of Air India Express, sees this rebranding as the launch of an ambitious growth and transformation journey. It commences with the induction of modern and fuel-efficient Boeing B737-8 aircraft.

Air India Express: Charting a Course for Growth

Air India Express has set an audacious goal. Over the next 15 months, they plan to add 50 aircraft to their fleet, effectively doubling their size in record time. In the next five years, they’re aiming to expand their fleet to around 170 narrow-body aircraft, covering both domestic and short-haul international routes.

A Harmonious Sonic Identity: Air India Express

In addition to their visual transformation, Air India Express has introduced a signature sonic identity. It includes a lively melody and a musical logo that evokes emotions such as Karuna, Adbutha, and Veera, creating a harmonious and engaging atmosphere for passengers.

Tata Group’s Expanding Airline Business

This exciting rebranding follows Air India’s transformation on August 10, when it introduced ‘The Vista,’ a new brand identity inspired by the limitless possibilities symbolized by a golden window frame. The Tata Group continues its efforts to consolidate its airline business, including the merger of Vistara with Air India, marking a transformative phase in the aviation industry.

Embracing India’s Rich Cultural Tapestry

Air India Express’s new visual identity not only reflects its commitment to growth but also pays homage to India’s rich cultural heritage through its aircraft designs, further connecting passengers to the nation’s diverse artistic traditions. The airline is not only rebranding its image but also redefining the passenger experience with a vibrant new visual and sonic identity. As it expands its fleet and celebrates India’s rich cultural diversity, the airline is poised to make a significant mark in the aviation industry.
