iGOT Karmayogi Bharat, the capacity development ecosystem for government officials, has collaborated with NITI Aayog to introduce a new curated collection dedicated to the Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP). This initiative aims to enhance the capacity and skills of government officials who are actively involved in the ABP, contributing to the program’s successful implementation and the development of aspirational blocks in India.
About the Aspirational Blocks Programme Module
The Aspirational Blocks Programme, launched by NITI Aayog, is an extension of the successful Aspirational Districts Programme. The new curated collection on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform is designed to enhance the competencies of 5000 Block-level officials across 500 identified Blocks. It aims to equip these officials with functional, domain-specific, and behavioral competencies necessary for them to effectively fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
By providing this curated module, the iGOT Platform aims to empower Block officials. By making meaningful contributions to the transformation of under-served Blocks, thereby enhancing grassroots governance across India. This initiative aligns with the broader goal of improving the quality of life and development outcomes in these areas.

iGOT Karmayogi is a comprehensive online platform designed to support government officials in their capacity-building endeavors. The portal features six functional hubs, including online learning, competency management, career management, discussions, events, and networking. It serves as a one-stop destination for government employees to enhance their skills, manage their careers, engage in discussions, participate in events, and connect with peers.
Currently, over 22.2 lakh learners from various government departments and sectors are registered on the iGOT Platform. It offers access to a wide range of 690+ courses. This platform plays a pivotal role in fostering continuous learning and professional development among government officials, contributing to their overall effectiveness in public service.
