B.R. Ambedkar Remembrance Day 2024: Ambedkar Jayanti is an annual celebration in India that happens every year on April 14. It’s a special day dedicated to remembering and appreciating the life of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. He was an important person because he did many different things, like being a teacher, a lawyer, and someone who fought for the rights of people. People also call him the “Father of the Indian Constitution” because he helped make the rules that guide our country.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Birth Anniversary 2024

Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was born on April 14, 1891, in India. He did a lot of important work, especially in making sure that everyone in the country is treated the same. Between 1947 and 1951, he helped create the rules for our country, and he also became a minister in the government.

A long time ago, in 1918, he was a teacher at a college in Mumbai. Later, in 1925, he worked with other important people to plan what the rules for the country should be. He also did things like helping people who were not treated well, and he fought for the right for everyone to go to temples and get water from public places.

After India became independent in 1947, the government asked Ambedkar to be an important minister, which he agreed to. On August 29, he was given the job of making the rules for the country. Throughout his life, he always said that everyone should be treated the same, no matter where they come from or who they are.

The celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti started a long time ago, in 1928 when a person named Janardan Sadashiv Ranapisay celebrated Ambedkar’s birthday in Pune. Now, every year on April 14, we remember and celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti.
