Crucial date for SSC Exams being advertised in 2022 : In an answer to clarify doubts regarding the age relaxation for SSC examinations in the Lok Sabha, the government has finalized some important details regarding SSC Exams being advertised in 2022. Check if you eligible to attempt SSC exams.

Crucial date for SSC Exams being advertised in 2022

SSC has decided that for any exam being advertised in the year 2022, the crucial date for determining age as on 1 January 2022. In the normal course of the exams, the crucial date for SSC exams would have been 1 Aug 2022 or 1 January 2023. This decision was taken since the recruitment cycle of the Staff Selection Commission was delayed due to COVID – 19 pandemic.

There is no change in number of attempts or age relaxation for SSC and UPSC examinations to frontline workers. Check the official notice here.
