The Delhi High court conducts the Delhi Judiciary Exam for the vacancy of civil judges. Candidates have to appear for the Prelims Exam, which is objective, Mains Exam, subjective, and finally, a Personal Interview. • The exam is conducted online and needs extensive preparation to understand the Delhi Judiciary Exam Pattern.

Delhi Judiciary Exam Pattern For Mains 

• The mains exam of the Delhi Judiciary Exam is of descriptive type and an important Delhi Judiciary Exam Pattern. 
• Four papers are the sections in the mains exam, and General Knowledge and Language is the only paper of 250 marks. 

Personal Interview 2021 

After candidates know Delhi Judiciary Exam Pattern and successfully clear Prelims and Mains, they appear for Personal Interview or the Viva Voice. The maximum marks in the final part of the examination are 150 marks. 

• A minimum of 40 % marks and an aggregate of 50 % marks have to be secured by General category candidates for a personal interview. 
• A minimum of 35 % marks and an aggregate of 45 % marks have to be secured by candidates who belong to scheduled caste/scheduled tribe, physically handicapped and ex-serviceman. 
• Marks secured in the exam are added with marks secured in personal interviews, and the aggregate will be taken out for the final selection process. 
• Based on the aggregate score and a candidate’s behaviour, a merit list is released.

• The final merit list is out, which is prepared based on mains exam and personal interview. Time management is of utmost importance for candidates. But the prelims exams should not be neglected as candidates can reach mains after them.

Delhi Judiciary Exam Marking Scheme 

As per the Delhi Judiciary Exam Pattern, a correctly answered question will carry 1 mark more. If a candidate attempts a question wrong, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks. A candidate will get no marks for an unanswered question. 

Eligibility And Age Limit   

Candidates have to know the eligibility for the exam – 

• An Indian citizen can apply for Delhi Judiciary Exam. 
• A Practicing Advocate in India or a qualified person to be an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961. 

The age limit has to be considered – 

• A candidate cannot be more than 32 years of age as on the date mentioned in the official exam advertisement of the year. 
• Candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste/Tribe will get a relaxation of 5 years from the upper age limit. 
• An Ex-Serviceman with at least 5 years of military service will get a relaxation of a maximum of 5 years from the upper age limit.
