Designation Based Puzzles for Banking Exams

We all are familiar with basic puzzles and seating arrangement topics like the linear arrangement, circular arrangement, floor-based, month and date based, etc. But we often ignore topics where more than one such type is combined. One such topic of puzzles is Designation based puzzles.

Designation based puzzles

This topic includes a combination of various puzzle topics combined with designations. These designation based puzzles can be of different types like the following:

1) Simple Designation based puzzles with each person having a different designation

2) Persons along with their designations given in increasing or decreasing order.

For example, in a puzzle including eight persons, the designations may be mentioned in the following way:

‘Seniority of the rank increases from left to right as: Analyst < Senior Analyst < Associate < Senior Associate < VP < Senior VP < Director < Managing director’

3) Seating arrangement in combination with designation based puzzles.

For example: Square arrangement with the designation.
