Haryana TET Eligibility Criteria

Haryana TET Eligibility Criteria: The Haryana Teaching Eligibility Test certifies teachers to teach in the schools of Haryana state. There are three levels of certification – PRT, TGT, and PGT. Teachers can get certified in any of the levels they wish. However, the qualification required for different levels is different. This article will provide the level-wise qualification required by the teachers applying for the exam.

The HTET 2023 exam is being conducted to certify teachers of the following levels- PRT, PGT, and TGT. Teachers who wish to teach in Haryana State schools should make sure to apply and take the Haryana TET to be eligible for better opportunities and benefits. Haryana TET Age Limit

Teachers applying for Haryana TET should be aware – there is no age limit for Haryana TET. As long as the teacher has the relevant educational qualifications, they can apply.

Haryana TET Educational Qualification

This section will cover the educational qualification required for teachers applying for any or all of the following levels-

The qualifications required for these abovementioned levels is given below.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-1 Primary Teacher(PRT) (Class I -V)

The eligibility criteria for Haryana TET PRT level teachers is as follows-

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special education). OR (i)Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-2 TGT  (Class VI-VIII):

The eligibility criteria for Haryana TET TGT level teachers is as follows-

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR (i)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in B.Ed(Special Education).(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-3 Lecturer (Class IX-XII) :

The eligibility criteria for Haryana TET PGT/Lecturer level teachers is as follows-

(i) Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognised university and B.Ed. from a recognised university  OR (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr.Secondary/Graduation/Post-graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects. And  With a Consistent good academic record
