Even though this position has quite limited vacancies, a lot of prestige and respect is attached to it. If you are posted in the field, you will have to carry out verification on the taxes imposed on products passing through different ports.

You will also have to catalogue and file important documents. In case you are posted in the CBEC headquarters, you will have to mostly perform clerical work.

The monthly salary ranges from INR 35,000-42,000.
