SSC CGL 2022 Tier-1 Exam Analysis 1st December 2022: Frequently Asked Questions
According to the new exam pattern, there will be 2 tiers of exams in SSC CGL from 2022 onwards. This replaces the 4 tier system followed until now.
Clearing the SSC CGL exam qualifies a candidate to Group–B and Group–C posts in the various departments of the Government of India.
1. SSC CGL will now have only 2 tiers- Tier I and II. Tier – III and Tier – IV have been removed.
2. Tier – 2 Exam Pattern changed. Additional subjects of Reasoning, General Awareness and Computer Proficiency added.
3. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance of candidates in Tier-II Examination only.
4. Sectional Cut off introduced in Tier- 2. This means Tier-1 is qualifying in nature now.
5. Changes in Negative Marking in Tier-2.
SSC CGL Tier – 2 Answer Key will be made available once the exam is conducted in December 2022.
