Hello, I am Anubhav Rai. I’m from Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh. I did my schooling in my hometown in Hindi medium and then I completed my graduation(BSC) from Mumbai University.

Details of Your Preparation Journey

Initially, I wanted to start for UPSC but due to some financial situations and uncertainty, I took SSC. In 2019 after graduation I prepared my mind to go for SSC and went to classes.

CGL 2019 was my first attempt but I couldn’t even clear the prelims as I was in the middle of my preparations. So CGL 2020 was my first serious attempt and by the grace of God and with the support of my parents I cleared SSC CGL 2020 and got my dream post of PREVENTIVE OFFICER (customs)

Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy

Quantitative

I took classes and yes Mock tests were the daily part of my life and I was always in the habit of analyzing those mocks and writing down my mistakes or anything necessary I found.

Reasoning:

For reasoning I relied on mock tests. That was enough for me.

English:

I took the classes and for grammar I just relied on my class notes.

GA/GK

And yes reading the newspaper was in my daily habit which helped me in the comprehension part.

Though I took very few mock tests for English but scored well.
