Hello, my name is Sohini Banerjee. I started my preparation in 2016. So, this is a long journey or struggle period. I completed my master’s degree in Bengali in 2016. Everyone used to think that a literature student would do something in an academic line only. But I always wanted to serve in the public sector. I chose to prepare for banking only after the 1st time I cleared the preliminary exam of IBPS PO 2017. After that my journey started, I faced lots of failures but those failures couldn’t stop me. I learned from my mistakes and kept going.

Sohini Banerjee Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy

Reasoning:- From the very beginning, the reasoning was my main strength. 

Quantitative:- We have to be strong in every subject to crack the examination. So, I practiced Maths from R.S. Aggarwal.

General Awareness:– GA section is the most important thing for the mains exam and we must not think that we’ll be preparing for it after clearing the preliminary exam. Never!! We should start preparing for it from the very beginning. GA has not only current affairs but also static and financial awareness part in it. So, it is a very vast section and continuous effort is needed to crack the exam with a good score in GA. I would suggest everyone to study GA from multiple sources. One source is never going to be sufficient.

English – I used to give mock tests from Oliveboard and analyze it properly.

Role of Oliveboard In Cracking The Exam

Oliveboard was a game-changer in my preparation. I came to know about Oliveboard mock tests from one of my friends and that was the turning point.
