UP Judiciary Selection Process 2021

The UP Judiciary Exam has three stages of being cleared. The first stage of the exam is the Preliminary Exam. Post clearing it candidate undergoes the second and third stages, the Mains Exam and interview rounds, respectively.

The prelims exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) having 2 papers of 2 hours each. The marks allotted for Paper-I is 150, while Paper-II will be for 300 marks. 

In the mains exam, there are five descriptive type exams with their syllabus and allotted marks as mentioned below:

Post clearing mains, the candidate will be called for the interview. The score set for the interview round is 100 marks. The candidates eligible for employment in the Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service will be evaluated based on their merit in the Exam, including their moral character, physique, and personality. The final score will be the additive of marks obtained in the interview and marks obtained in the written papers. The total sum of these marks will decide the candidate’s place in the exam.

UP Judiciary Admit Card 2021

For all the eligible candidates, post completion of their document verification, the UP board will release the UP Judiciary Admit Card on the official website. This will be released two weeks before the examination date. Candidates are supposed to print them and need to be shown on the exam date. Without the hall ticket candidate/applicant will not be allowed to write the exam.
