The Public Service Commission of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies. In this post we will have a look at JKPSC Assistant Registrar Salary & Job Profile

The notification was issued on 17.12.2020 and is meant to recruit candidates who possess the domicile of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir. The application form for the post can be accessed on the Commission’s website starting 17.05.2021 onwards. Before filling out the application form, a candidate must check all the eligibility criteria. A candidate has until 16.06.20201 to submit an online application form which is complete in all respects.

The board has advised that the candidates complete and submit their applications in advance and not wait for the last moment.  If candidates wait till the last moment, and if there is disconnection, or the fee cannot be paid for some reason or any other such hindrance, then the form will not get submitted, and the candidate will not be able to apply.

JKPSC Assistant Registrar Salary Structure

The candidates selected for the post and join the service will draw a per month salary for Level-6F, from Rs.40,800 to a maximum of Rs.1,29,200.  The salary comes with perks and allowances. Further, pay, allowance and fixation of tenure are based on “Jammu & Kashmir Probationer (Conduct of Service, Pay & Allowance).

According to it, now new rules will apply for all appointments. All appointees will now be governed based on the new rules. While they are serving their probation period under the Government, these appointees will have the entitlement to draw the minimum level of pay that applies to their specific post. 

When the period of probation for the appointees is completed, each one of the appointees, be they at any post under the Government of the UT of J&K, shall become eligible for fixed pay, which applies to their post and has been set for it. These appointees will, at this stage, also become entitled to an annual increment, House Rent related allowance, dearness allowance, and CCA, which is the City Compensatory Other allowances, besides other allowances which are sanctioned by the Government from time to time and apply to their post. 

All new appointees now even have entitlement to benefits that fall under the leave rules and the Rules of Medical Attendance.  These will be applicable starting with the appointment date of the appointees. It is essential for all new appointees now-onwards working for the J&K Government to work on at the specified post for at least a five years term.

JKPSC Assistant Registrar Job Profile

Two main roles are performed by a JKPSC Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies. One is to supervise all the co-operative societies that are already registered with the Department.  The other role is to come up with recommendations for the registration of those cooperative societies that are not already registered.
