RRB NTPC Medical Test – Schedule
The RRB NTPC Notification states that the Medical Test for RRB NTPC recruitment will be conducted for all the NTPC posts. It is expected to be conducted along with the Document verification process. The RRB NTPC first stage CBT is tentatively scheduled to be conducted from 28 Dec 2020–31 Jul 2021. We can expect the RRB NTPC Stage 2 CBT to be conducted within a couple of months after completion of Stage 1 CBT. Based on the exam schedule followed by Railways, we can say that the Skill tests, document verification and RRB NTPC medical test can be expected to be completed in 2-3 months after the completion of RRB NTPC Stage 2 CBT.
RRB NTPC Exam Latest Update
- The 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1)was held in 7 phases from December 28, 2020 to July 31, 2021.
- The result of the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) is currently under process and the results are tentatively scheduled to be published in the official websites of RRBs by January 15, 2022.
- The 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2) exam for the candidates who get shortlisted in CBT-1 is tentatively scheduled to be held from February 14-18, 2022, subject to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time in view of handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process. Please do not get misled by unauthorized sources.

RRB NTPC Medical Test – Note
- The above medical standards are indicative and not exhaustive and apply to candidates in general. The candidates are advised to read Chapter 5 of Indian Railway Medical Manual (IRMM) Volume I which can also be accessed at www.indianrailways.gov.in.Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or any other surgery procedure to correct refractory error are not eligible for the post having Medical Standard A-2, A-3 and B-2.
- Different Medical standards shall apply to Ex-Servicemen as detailed in Para 534 of Indian Railway Medical Manual (IRMM) Volume I, which may be accessed at www.indianrailways.gov.in.
