SBI PO: The in-hand salary of a Probationary Officer in SBI is one of the most frequently questioned questions among aspirants. According to the official notification of 2021, the starting basic pay of SBI PO is Rs. 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) on the scale of Rs. 41960-980 (7) – 48820 – 1145 (2) – 51110 – 1310 (7) – 60280 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. This revised salary and increment structure are as per the Bipartite Settlement. SBI PO Salary in terms of CTC will be ₹8.20–₹13.08 LPA depending on the place of posting and other factors.
IBPS PO: The in-hand salary package offered to an IBPS PO is Rs. 52,000 to 55,000 with dearness allowances, special allowances, HRA, and other perks. SBI PO: In the preliminary examination, 100 marks will be awarded for objective-type questions. The sections include English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning ability. The exam duration is 1 hour for 100 questions. The main examination will consist of 200 objective-type tests and 50 descriptive tests. Both of these tests will be conducted in online mode. The objective test includes Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, and English Language. IBPS PO: The IBPS PO prelim examination comprises three sections- English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. The exam will have 100 questions and the time duration is for 1 hour (60 Minutes). The maximum marks for the exam are 100 marks. The IBPS PO main examination comprises objective and descriptive tests. The objective type section includes Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. For the descriptive part, letter writing and essay. The objective part comprises 155 questions and the maximum marks awarded are 200. The time duration for this is 30 minutes. IBPS RRB PO: In the IBPS RRB PO preliminary examination for Officer Scale I (PO) post, the subjects are reasoning and quantitative aptitude. The number of questions asked is 80 and the maximum mark is 80. The time duration for the prelims exam is just 45 minutes. The main examination for both Office Assistant and Officer Scale I includes subjects – Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English Language or Hindi Language and Numerical Ability (for Office Assistant) and Quantitative Aptitude (for Officer Scale I). SBI PO is the most difficult exam among all three exams- SBI PO, IBPS PO, and IBPS RRB PO. The questions asked in IBPS PO are moderate and IBPS RRB PO is easy when compared to the other two. Both SBI PO and IBPS PO preliminary examination time duration is for 1 hour whereas IBPS RRB PO time duration of the preliminary exam is for 45 minutes. Questions asked in the preliminary examination of SBI PO and IBPS PO are 100 marks and RRB PO is for 80 marks.
