1. Inspiring Success Story of Preeti Sharma

Never think of giving up, whatever the conditions are!

Hello Friends,

I am Preeti Sharma. I am selected in Union Bank of India as Clerk. I completed my B.tech from EC. After completing my graduation, I opted to go for government exams.

I wrote SSC, NTPC, and IBPS Clerk in 1st year of my preparation but missed by 2 and 1.5 marks respectively and cleared Prelims. I gained confidence.

Then I decided to pursue my career in the Banking sector so started preparing for banking exams. In the first two years, I was able to clear prelims only.

The main reason for not qualifying for mains was a lack of practicing of mains level questions and not having the knowledge of good platforms like Oliveboard. In 2018 I Joined Oliveboard’s online platform and it was one of the best decisions I made.

2. Preeti’s Section-wise Preparation Strategy

2.1 English Section Preparation Strategy

I practiced the editorial part of THE HINDU and S.P Bakshi. I Learned Grammar rules from the YouTube channel of the Oliveboard platform. Mock test series of mains exams of Oliveboard helped me totally to clear the mains exams.

2.2 Quant Section Preparation Strategy

Oliveboard test series questions provided me the trickiest question of every topic. It enhanced my knowledge of the complexity of every topic. Removed my fear of attempting hard level questions in mains exams.

2.3 Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

I am assuring you friends, the best level of puzzles, seating arrangement, a new type of questions for which the SBI exam is known, you can get in their ELITE plans. The new mains level questions enhance my capacity of solving new questions.

2.4 GA Section Preparation Strategy

The Bolt, monthly GK PDF, and daily quizzes helped me to crack the G.A section.

Exams which I missed –

  • SSC CHSL- 1.25 marks margin
  • NTPC – 2 marks
  • LIC ADO- Interview out
  • LIC assistant – 8 marks
  • DRDO- 2 marks

During the journey of 5 years, I lost my confidence many times but rebuilt it again by boosting up myself. Keeping faith in my hard work and in God are the keys that have always motivated me and kept me on track.

3. Her Tips to Aspirants

For my dear girl aspirants- There are many girls who are struggling not only to get a job but also from family and society pressure of getting married and due to age factor (according to Indian Society).

To all of them, People try to pull you down all the time. At that instance, we must think once that all this shall come to an end when you will achieve your target.

The people who are questioning you today will clap for you in the end. So have faith in yourself and in your hard work. Don’t even think of giving up until you achieve your target. Your parents’ smile is more precious than your hard work and tears. So work harder for them.
