Mizoram PSC Selection Process

The Mizoram PSC combined competitive exam’s selection process involves multiple stages. The selection process starts with a preliminary exam consisting of objective-type questions that test general knowledge, aptitude, and reasoning abilities. Candidates who qualify in the prelims proceed to the main exam, which features descriptive questions assessing in-depth knowledge of concerned subjects. The first stage i.e. prelims exam of the Mizoram Civil Service exam consists two papers; General studies and Aptitude Test. Paper I, General Studies consists questions from Geography, Indian polity and governance, Economic and social development and other topics mentioned in the Mizoram PSC Prelims Syllabus.

  • The MPSC Prelims Exam is the first stage of the Mizoram PSC recruitment process.

After qualifying the cut-off criteria of the Mizoram PSC Prelims exam, candidates are allowed for the mains exam of the Mizoram PSC combined civil service exam. Mains exam consists eight papers in which two papers are based on the respective language, one optional subject of two papers and remaining four papers are based on General Studies.
