OPSC Civil Services Application Form – The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) conducts the OPSC Civil Services Exam. This exam is for the various posts under two groups, namely Group A and Group B. Under Group A, the posts offered are Administrative Service, Police Service, and Finance Service. OPSC Civil Services Exam Stages

There are three stages in the OPSC Civil Services Exam: Preliminary, Mains, and Interview.

OPSC Civil Services Application Form  

The Odisha Public Service Commission has issued an official notification inviting candidates to submit their applications. Only online applications for OPSC OAS and OPSC civil service recruitment are accepted through the OPSC’s official website. Online applications will be accepted for the year 2021 from the 12th of January until the 22nd of February. While filling out the online application form, candidates must have scanned copies of all relevant papers on hand. Candidates must print the submitted online application form, self-attest it, and bring the required documents and certifications together with the online challan (pay-in-slip) to the nearest branch of the State Bank of India.

Candidates who qualify for the mains exam must provide hard copies of their online application form and attested true copies of the other documents listed below.

Step 1: Go to the direct link.

Step 2 – Read all of the instructions before pressing the Apply button.

Step 3 – Create an account by entering your information, such as your email address, phone number, and password.

Step 4 – You will receive an email with a username and password.

Step 5 – Log in with your Username and Password and fill in all the required forms, such as category, date of birth, and educational information.

Step 6: Attach a current passport-size photograph to the needed documents.

Step 7: Pay the required payment and submit your application.

Step 8: Print the application form after downloading it.

Grounds Of Rejection Of Application

The application of the candidate may be rejected on various grounds, which are as follows:-

  • The board will reject a candidate’s application if it is presented incompletely at any point during the process.
  • Rejection may also occur if a hard copy of the online application is not received.
  • Application is rejected if the declaration on the candidate’s hard copy of the online application form is not properly signed.
  • If the candidate’s age does not meet the official notification’s age limit criterion, stating that overage relaxation will not be granted to PWD candidates with less than a 40% disability, the application can be rejected.
  • Failure to meet the board’s educational requirements may result in rejection.
  • Non-payment of application fees, when necessary and required, is also grounds for disqualification.
  • Failure to provide the certificates or documents required on the application form may be the cause of rejection.
  • If the candidate does not have evidence of passing the Odia test or has failed the Odia test (ME standard), the application can be rejected.
  • Any incorrect or fraudulent information about age, qualification, Odia test pass evidence, category status, quota reservation, and so on is submitted, the application form can be rejected.
  • The candidate whose application has been deemed inadmissible due to the number of attempts made can be rejected.
  • The suppression of facts and truth about eligibility can also result in the candidate’s application form being rejected.
  • If the candidate fails to provide the original documents for verification on the day set by the commission, the candidate will be disqualified.
  • Any application that is not submitted using the online method will be rejected.
  • Failure to submit the concerned university’s or board’s equivalency certificate/conversion formula may reject the application.

Note: A candidate’s application can be rejected if a discrepancy is discovered at any point in the recruitment process.

OPSC Civil Services Exam Application Fee

Candidates who apply for the OPSC Civil Services recruitment must pay Rs. 500 application fee (Rupees Five Hundred Only). People who fall into the category of Odisha’s S.C./S.T. or who have a disability (at least 40% permanent incapacity) are free from paying the exam costs.

The payments for the OPSC OAS recruiting examination will not be reimbursed once they have been paid.
