The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts the state-level civil services examination for Rajasthan.  This Examination is the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Examination.  Through this Examination, Candidates are recruited to Rajasthan’s state and subordinate services. RAS Admit Card: Overview

The total number of vacancies released by RPSC for RAS is 988.  There will be a three-step process for recruitment:  Preliminary Examination, which the candidates will have to pass with the specified pass marks to reach the next round.  The second stage is the Main Examination. The candidates who qualify in this round will move to the next round. The third stage is the Personal Interview round. 

For each stage of the selection process, and admit card will be issued to the candidates.  This Admit Card has to be carried by the candidate to the venue of the Examination.  This is the pass that will allow the candidate entry to the Examination hall. 

The RAS exam admit cards are out. The candidates don’t have to take a colour printout of the Admit Card.   Even a black and white printout is acceptable at the Examination centre, but it should be a clear printout. 

Downloading the RAS Admit Card

You can follow the below-mentioned steps to check your Admit Card and even print it out after it has been made available on the official website of the Examination Board. 

  1. Open the official website of the Examination Board.
  2. Locate the link for the RAS Admit Card
  3. Provide the details for login required for accessing your Admit Card.  These will be your Roll Number, your Date of Birth, and the auto-generated Captcha.  Click the submit button. This will display your Admit Card on the screen.
  4. Check that all the details you had provided when submitting your application are entered correctly on your Admit Card.
  5. Download the Admit Card to your electronic device.
  6. Print the Admit Card.

How to get forgotten or lost ID for downloading RAS Admit Card

If you have lost your ID for the application you had submitted, or forgotten it somehow, use the following steps to smoothen the process of downloading your Admit Card.

  1. Access the SSO portal. The login page will provide the option of ‘Forgotten Login ID.’
  2. Enter the ID that you used to create your login. 
  3. After you provide your credentials, wait for the e-mail providing your login ID and your password.

Details to Check on the RAS Admit Card

Before downloading your Admit Card, you must check the following information on it for any error or discrepancy. If there is an error, you will need to get it corrected. 

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Guardian’s name 
  • Date of birth 
  • Name of the Examination
  • Examination Date
  • Centre for the Examination
  • Examination Timing
  • Examination Centre’s Postal Address
  • Photograph of the candidate 
  • Candidate’s Signature

Resolving Discrepancies in RAS Admit Card

While checking your RAS Admit Card prior to downloading and printing it, if you find any error in the Admit Card information from the information you provided at the time of submitting your application, you need to get it fixed.  Since the time between the release of the Admit Card and the Examination is short, you must submit your request for correction immediately and keep a follow-up and check the new Admit Card for error correction. Documents Required on the Day of the RAS Examination

When you go for your RAS Examination, you will need to prove that you had applied for the recruitment process for RAS, and you will also need to prove your identity. For this, you should carry the following documents along with you on the day of the Examination. 

  • RPSC RAS admit card 
  • A photo identity proof that the government has issued.  For example, Driving license, Permanent Account Number (PAN) card, and Aadhar card.

Things Prohibited at the RAS Examination Venue

Some things are prohibited from being carried by candidates to the Examination centre/ Examination Hall.  Some of the things prohibited in the Examination Centre/ Examination Hall for candidates are listed below.

  • Firearms
  • Electronic gadgets, such as calculators, Bluetooth, earphones/ headphones, mobile phones, iPods, Tablets, and Electronic Notebooks.
  • Books, notebooks, loose sheets with or without writing, rough paper, printouts of notes or information 
  • All kinds of jewelry, including toe rings, earrings, finger rings, and nose studs
  • Henna designs on the body

Will carrying my Admit Card hard copy allow me entry to the Examination Hall?

You also need to carry a photo-identity proof along with the Admit Card to gain entry to the Examination Hall for the RAS Examination.

Will the Examination Board send me a hard copy of the RAS Admit Card for 2021?

No, hard copy Admit Cards are not sent to candidates.  E-Admit Cards are made available for candidates.  These can be printed, and the hard copy carried to the Examination Centre on the Examination day.
