RBI Grade B Exam Analysis 2022 – Phase 1 – Overall Analysis and Difficulty Level

We have covered the RBI Grade B Phase 1 Exam Analysis 2022 in detail. Here you will get a section-wise detailed analysis, so stay tuned with us.

1. General Awareness (GA)
  • As per the feedback that we received from the aspirants who took the phase 1 shift 1 paper, the General Awareness (GA) questions asked were not as long/lengthy when compared to the last year’s questions.
  • This year in the GA section, one could have easily managed the time of 25 minutes to go through all the questions comfortably and answer them.
  • The other thing that we would like to mention here is that all the sections were covered comprehensively say like there were questions from Banking Awareness, Government Schemes, Static GK (a few questions), Reports, Current Affairs etc.
  • We would also like to mention here that most of the questions asked were factual in nature and only a few tested your concept clarity. Those aspirants who had already prepared for the Phase 2 papers of ESI & FM, would have been at an advantage here. We can say this as there were a few concept-based as well as fact-based questions from the ESI & FM here in the General Awareness paper.
  • We would rate this section as a Moderate to Difficult one.
  • The maximum number of current affairs were from the months of April and May 2022. Also, a sufficient number of questions from March 2022. Other questions asked were seen from the months of December 2021, January, and February 2022.
  • Accuracy would be the deciding factor here.

2. Reasoning
  • We would say that the reasoning paper was moderate to difficult.
  • The key here to getting a decent score was the right selection of questions. You must have scanned all the questions, in the beginning, to understand which questions to solve and which to leave.
  • There were 5 sets of puzzles and these were not easy. Lengthy will be the right word for these puzzle-based questions we would say. You could have chosen other questions based on critical reasoning, syllogisms, inequality etc to maximize your score here.

3. English

This section was doable when compared to the other sections as well as when compared to the last year’s English paper. You could have maximized your overall score here by solving the maximum number of questions.

4. Quantitative Aptitude (Quants)
  1. This section again was on the difficult side. There were 3 sets of DI out of which one was a bit easy and could have been attempted. The other sets of DI were on the lengthier side.
  2. Also, the questions from the Arithmetic section were also on the difficult side.
  3. Again the right section of questions would have helped to clear the sectional cut-off.
