  2. Significant Linguistic Features of Sindhi Language:
    • Phonological, morphological, and syntactical features of Sindhi language.
  3. Major Dialects of Sindhi Language:
    • Overview of the major dialects spoken within the Sindhi language.
  4. Sindhi Vocabulary:
    • Stages of growth of Sindhi vocabulary, including pre-partition and post-partition periods.
  5. Historical Study of Writing Systems (Scripts) of Sindhi:
    • Examination of various writing systems used historically in Sindhi language.
  6. Changes in the Structure of Sindhi Language in India after Partition:
    • Analysis of the structural changes in Sindhi language post-partition, influenced by other languages and social conditions.

Section B

Sindhi Literature Through the Ages: Examination of Sindhi literature in different historical periods, considering socio-cultural conditions:

  • Early Medieval Literature (up to 1350 A.D.): Includes folk literature.
  • Late Medieval Period (1350 A.D. to 1850 A.D.)
  • Renaissance Period (1850 A.D. to 1947 A.D.)
  • Modern Period (from 1947 onwards)

Exploration of literary genres in modern Sindhi literature and experiments in poetry, drama, novel, short story, essay, literary criticism, biography, autobiography, memoirs, and travelogues.

b. Sachal Jo Choond Kalam: Analysis and context references focusing on the Kafis, edited by Kalyan B. Advani and published by Sahitya Akademi.

c. Sami-a-ja Choond Sloka: Examination and context references from the initial 100 pages edited by B.H. Nagrani and published by Sahitya Akademi.

d. Shair-e-Bewas by Kishinchand Bewas: Critical appreciation of the “Saamoondi Sipoon” portion.

e. Roshan Chhanvro by Narayan Shyam: Analysis and references to context.

f. Virhange Khapoi je Sindhi Shair jee Choond: Critical appreciation of selected Sindhi poetry edited by H.I. Sadarangani and published by Sahitya Akademi.

2. Drama:

a. Behtareen Sindhi Natak (One-act Plays): Examination and critical appreciation of the selected plays edited by M. Kamal and published by Gujarat Sindhi Academy.

b. Kako Kaloomal (Full-length Play) by Madan Jumani: Analysis and references to context.
