SSC CHSL Height and Weight – The SSC CHSL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level) examination is a highly sought-after competitive exam in India that recruits candidates for various posts in government offices and organizations. SSC CHSL Height and Weight for Male

There are different physical standards for different posts. The details are as follows:

Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/ Preventive Officer), Inspector & Sub-Inspector in CBN:  

• (i) Physical Standards:

Height 157.5 cm. Chest 81 cm (fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.)

Height relaxable by 5 cm in the case of Garwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and members of Scheduled Tribes.

• (ii) Physical Test:

Physical Test	For Male Candidates
Walking	1600 metres in 15 minutes
Cycling	8 Km in 30 minutes

1. Candidates with disabilities applying for the position of Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/ Preventive Officer) must fulfill the physical requirements, including height, chest size, and weight, as specified for the position.
2. However, candidates with orthopaedic disabilities are permitted certain physical test accommodations.
3. For candidates in the OL (One Leg), OAL (One Arm and One Leg), categories, the “Walking” exam will be required.
4. In the case of candidates in the OA (One Arm), OL (One Leg), and OAL (One Arm and One Leg) categories, the “Cycling” test will not be required.

Physical standards for the Post of Sub-Inspector in National Investigation Agency:

Sex	Height	Chest	Vision
Male	165 cm	A minimum of 76 cms With expansion	Eye-sight (with or without glasses) Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in the other eye

Physical standards for the Post of Sub-Inspector in the Central Bureau of Investigation:

Male	The height must not be less than 165 cms for General category candidates. Height can be relaxed for hill and tribal candidates by up to 5 cms	A minimum of 76 cm With expansion.	Eye-sight (with or without glasses) Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in the other eye

Height:  152 cms.Weight:  48 Kgs.

Height relaxable by 2.5 cms. Weight relaxable by 2 Kg. for Gorkhas, Garwalis, Assamese, and members of Scheduled Tribes.

• (ii)Physical Test:
  • Walking –  1 Km. in 20 minutes.
  • Cycling – 3 Kms. in 25 minutes.

Physical standards for the Post of Sub-Inspector in National Investigation Agency:

Female	159 cm	–	Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in the other eye

Physical standards for the Post of Sub-Inspector in the Central Bureau of Investigation:

Female	150 cms.	–	Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in the other eye

SSC CHSL Medical Examination

Here are the rephrased criteria for the medical examination to meet the SSC CHSL eligibility requirements:

1. The candidate’s chest should have a proper shape, and their heart and lungs should be in good health.
2. The legs of the candidate should be well-formed.
3. There should be no signs of glandular swelling.
4. The candidate’s eyesight should meet the required standards as per the SSC Medical Test Eye test.
5. The candidate’s speech should be fluent without any impediments.
6. There should be no noticeable squinting, nystagmus, or other abnormalities.
7. The candidate must be in sound physical and mental health, with no evident ear, nose, or throat diseases.
8. The candidate should have proper movement of the eyeballs, with free movement in all directions.
9. The candidate should exhibit intelligence, as assessed by the examining officials.
10. The applicant must have an adequate number of teeth for proper chewing.
11. There should be no congenital malformations or abnormalities in the candidate’s body.
12. The toes and feet of the candidate should be properly formed.
13. All the candidate’s joints should be properly aligned and have unrestricted movement.
