BRIEF ABOUT HER JOURNEY

Hi guys, I am Nikita and I have completed my graduation in B.Sc. in 2017. Soon after my graduation I started preparing for government exams in June, 2017. In 2017 I could not clear any prelims. So then in 2018, I decided that I will strategize my study plan again and leave no stone unturned to achieve my targets.

Then in 2018, I cleared SBI PO Prelims & Mains but in final selection I was left behind by 0.25 marks. I also managed to clear Bank of Baroda PO but again could not make through the final list. In 2018, I cleared almost all the Prelims of various exams like RRB PO, & CLERK, IBPS PO & CLERK, CANARA PO, ESIC. Finally I cleared NIACL AO, CANARA PO & IBPS CLERK in 2018.

Below is My Preparation Strategy:

During my preparation days, I was looking for some online site where I could practice latest pattern questions online. I came across a number of sites and initially went onto to practice from all of them but found Oliveboard mock tests to be the best one for my preparation for such competitive exams.

It’s very important to get your basics clear as it will help you to solve each question in the best possible way. I used to refer few books to cover the syllabus of different subjects. Remember, never try to cover everything while you are preparing. In your initial preparation days, try and analyse your weak areas properly after every mock test and change your approach to solve questions accordingly. But remember in the last few days always focus more on making your strong areas/chapters better rather than starting something new. This is the biggest mistake that aspirants tend to make in their preparation days.

Again, the other mistake that aspirants makes during their preparation days is that they keep on studying the chapters till the last moment without practicing the questions. Make sure that after each chapter you practice enough and more questions related to it and analyse it accordingly. Never leave a chapter half done and hurry to the next one in order to complete the syllabus. If you want you can also divide your chapters in each subject and try to cover the weaker ones in your initial days and the strong ones at the end.

For GK, it is extremely important to refer some newspapers daily. You can also refer to the various sites and make small notes in case you do not get enough time to read newspapers. Watching news channels and then discussing about the important happening with your friends can also be a great way of preparing for this section.

Tips to Aspirants:

Remember, no one said that this journey is going to be easy but all that will matter at the end is your hard work and dedication. Hard work always pays off, so never give up as success will find your way one day.
