AILET Application Form 2022 - Complete details

The National Law University, Delhi, conducts the AILET annually for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses. The process to fill out the AILET Application Form 2022 admissions began on 17th January 2022. The last date to apply is now extended to May 25, 2022. The examination will be conducted on June 26, 2022. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website of the University.

Documents required to fill the AILET Application Form 2022

The documents required for application are given below:

  • Mark sheet and pass certificate of 10th standard
  • Mark sheet and pass certificate of 12th standard
  • The graduation mark sheet and pass certificate (For LLM - if available)
  • Scanned recent passport size colour photograph of the candidate
  • Scanned signature of the candidate

Process to apply for AILET 2022

The steps to apply for the examination are given below:

The process to fill the AILET Application Form

Candidates need to register themselves before filling out the AILET Application Form. They should follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the examination:

Step 1: Visit the admission portal of AILET

 step 2: Click on the Register option

Step 3: Fill out the registration form by entering your name, e-mail ID, and mobile number.

Step 4: Click on submit to complete the registration.

After successful registration, the candidate will receive a login Id/ application number and password. The detail will also be sent to the candidates' registered e-mail id and mobile number. 

Now, login to the portal using the login Id and password to fill out the AILET Application Form.

Selection of the course

Candidates require to select the law course they wish to apply for before filling out the application form. The course options are - BA LLB (Hons.), LLM and Ph. D

Personal Information

Candidates need to enter the following details:

  • Name of the candidate
  • nationality
  • gender
  • e-mail id
  • valid mobile number
  • date of birth
  • category

Preference of Test centre and Contact Details

Candidates should mention the test centre of their choice and enter the following details:

  • permanent address
  • correspondence address

Details of the Candidate's Family

  • Father's name
  • Mother's name
  • occupation
  • mobile number of parents
  • annual income

Academic Details

  • Class 10 academic details
  • Class 12 academic details
  • Graduation details (For LLM/ PhD)

Upload Signature and photograph

The next step is to upload the signature and photograph. 

After uploading the documents, candidates should take a preview of the application form before submitting it.

AILET Application Fees 2022

The AILET application fee can be submitted online through a credit card, debit card, UPI, or Net Banking. The category wise application fee is provided below:

AILET Eligibility criteria 2022 

Before filling out the AILET Application Form, the candidates must go through the Eligibility requirements set by the examination board. The required eligibility criteria are:

Nationality

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for the admission test.

For BA LLB course:

Age limit

 No age limit criteria are set by the examination board. 

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed the SSC exam and Intermediate from a recognized Board/ University. 

Minimum Marks

Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50 per cent in both the qualifying test and the entrance examination.

For LLM course 

Age limit

The candidates should be more than 20 years to apply for the entrance test. 

Educational Qualification 

The candidates must have completed their LLB or an equivalent course from a recognized University/ Institute. 

Minimum Marks

For General Category: candidates must have secured a minimum of 55 per cent in both the qualifying test and the entrance examination.

For Reserved Category: Candidates from the reserved categories- OBC/ SC/ ST must have 50 per cent or more marks in the qualifying test.

Appearing candidates:

Candidates in their final year of graduation too are eligible to apply for the entrance examination.

For Ph. D course 

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution/ university to be eligible for the entrance test.

Minimum Marks 

For General Category: minimum 55 per cent in the qualifying test.

For Reserved Category: minimum 50 per cent in the qualifying test..
