Application for XAT 2017 starts today!

XAT 2017 will be held on January 8th, 2017

The application process for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2017 exam, conducted by XLRI, begins today. The exam is slated to be held on Sunday, 8th of January, 2017, between 10am and 1:30pm and will be taken by around 90,000 candidates from across the country.

The application process will continue till November 30th and the cost of the application will be 1600 INR (300 INR per XLRI course). If you miss out, you can apply between 1st-10th December, but  at a higher application fee of 2000 INR (500 INR per XLRI course).

Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.
  • The duration of the program should be minimum 3 years.
  • Students who are in final year can apply, provided they complete their final exam by 10th June, 2017.

Exam Pattern:

The test will be paper-pencil based, for a duration of 3 hours. The exam is divided into two stages – Paper-I & Paper-II. Paper-I is comprised of 3 sections totalling 78 marks, while the remaining marks are split between 2 sections in Paper-II. Paper-II is a mix of both objective and subjective questions.
