The Public Service Commission of Uttar Pradesh Public has released the fresh examination calendar for 2021. The UPPSC is a state agency that has been authorized to conduct the Civil Services examinations. The commission conducts the examinations for the entry-level posts to various Group-A and Group-B Civil Services of the State.
The commission conducts the PCS and ACF/ RFO Examination to fill in the vacancies of Group-A- A and Group-B officers in the administrative service of the state government. The examination for these recruitments is done in three stages:
- Preliminary examination
- Mains examination
Although the syllabus is slightly different for the UPPSC Preliminary and Mains examination, the candidates should have an integrated approach as the UPPSC PCS and ACF/ RFO have mostly common topics.
The fresh examination calendar- 2021 released by the Public Service Commission of Uttar Pradesh Public provides the recruitment examination dates. These will be held for the year 2021- 2022. The revised examination calendar is available on the official website of the commission www.uppsc.up.nic.in.

The original examination calendar 2021 was released on 15th January 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the five recruitment examinations to be held between April 2021 and June 2021 had to be postponed. The latest revision of the UPPSC PCS examination calendar is due to the earlier postponement of the Examinations.

Exam Pattern for Prelims
The UPPSC PCS Exam Pattern for Prelims consists of 2 compulsory papers in MCQ format. It is a 2-hour exam with 200 marks for each exam. The candidates need to qualify for this exam to appear for the Mains examination.
Exam Pattern Mains
The UPPSC PCS Exam Pattern for the Mains consists of compulsory and optional subjects. The candidates have to appear for all the compulsory exams whereas they can choose the optional subjects from the various options provided by the UPPSC.
