1. Rural Development Banking Service

Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
Education Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate

or

  • Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate

or

  • PhD OR Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary with Bachelor’s degree

or

  • Two-year full-time P.G. Diploma in Management / full-time MBA degree from Institutions recognized by GOI / UGC with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

» Agriculture Marketing/Agri.Business Management:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Marketing/ Agriculture Business Management with 50% marks (PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate

or

  • Two years full-time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/MBA in Agriculture Marketing/ Agriculture Business Management with a minimum of 50% marks (PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution.

» Geo-Informatics:

  • BE/B.Tech/BSC degree in Geoinformatics with 50% marks (PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate

or

  • ME/M.Tech/MSC degree in Geoinformatics with a minimum of 50% marks (PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate from a recognized university.

» Agricultural Economics/Economics:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with Economics/Agriculture Economics with 50% marks (SC/PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate

or

» Information Technology:

» Chartered Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
  • The Membership of ICAI must have been obtained on or before 01-01-2021. 

  • » Company Secretary:
    Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Associate membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
  • The Membership of ICSI must have been obtained on or before 01-01-2021.

» Finance:

  • BBA (Finance/Banking) / BMS (Finance/Banking) with 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%)

or

  • Two years full-time P.G. Diploma in Management (Finance) / Full-time MBA (Finance) degree from Institutions / Universities recognized by GoI /UGC OR Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis with 50% marks
    (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%).

» Human Resource Management:

  • BBA (Human Resource Management)/ BBM (Human Resource Management)/ BMS ((Human Resource Management) with 50% marks (PWBD applicants – 45%)

or

  • Two years full-time P.G. Diploma in Management in HRM/HR / Full-time MBA degree in HRM/ HR from recognized University / Institute.

» Statistics:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics with 50% marks (PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Statistics with a minimum of 50% marks (PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate from a recognized university

2. Rajbhasha Service

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 21 years

Maximum Age: 30 years


Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory

or

  • Elective subject with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate

or

  • Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate. The candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice/Versa.

or

  • Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university in Hindi with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate and English as a compulsory/elective subject at Graduation level

or

  • Post-Graduate Degree in English with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) and Hindi as the main subject at Graduation level. The candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice/Versa.

3. Legal Service

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 21 years

Maximum Age: 30 years


Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrolment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST applicants – 45%)

or

  • equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years OR LLM Degree with a minimum of 45% (SC/ST applicants – 40%) or equivalent in the aggregate of all
    semesters/years.

Note: (i) For PWBD candidates, the minimum required marks shall be 50% in Bachelor’s Degree in Law in the Aggregate of all semesters/years OR LLM degree with a minimum of 45% or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years
Note: In case of practising advocates (i) copy of Bar Council Registration Certificate and (ii) A Certificate from Bar Association of which the candidate is a member or a certificate issued by the Presiding Officer of a court before which the candidate has practised for the required period should be produced at the time of interview.


4. Protocol & Security Service

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 25 years

Maximum Age: 40 years

Direct Recruitment for this position will be conducted by calling suitable candidates for the interview. No exam will be conducted for this position.


Eligibility Criteria
  • He/she should be an officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force holding a valid Ex-Serviceman Identity Card.
  • Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers should have rendered at least five years continuous Military service and should have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability attributable to Military service or on invalid.

IV. NABARD Grade A 2021 – Selection Process

The detailed selection process for NABARD Grade-A Officer will have 3 phases. Details are as follows -:

1. Phase-I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam) – 200 Marks

2. Phase-II – Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern. – 200 Marks

3. Phase-III – Interview – 25 marks

V. NABARD Grade A 2021 – Exam Pattern

The Exam patterns for NABARD Grade-A Officer 2021 Exam is as follows -:

Note: Phase 1 Exam is only RDBS, Rajbhasha & Legal. For P & SS, there will be only an interview round.


2. NABARD Grade A Officer 2021 –  Phase-2 Exam Pattern

NABARD Grade A Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive questions.

Paper-I– General English: (Descriptive – writing skills – online through the keyboard). The paper will have descriptive questions.

Paper-II (MCQ):

Duration: 1 ½ hrs. – 100 Marks

» For Grade A (RDBS): Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India)

» For Grade A Rajbhasha: The Paper will have multiple-choice questions. Proficiency in Hindi including Translation from English to Hindi and Vice versa. The analytical and drafting ability of the candidate shall also be assessed from the descriptive paper.

Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks

» For Grade A (Legal Services): The paper will be based on proficiency in interpreting various Laws viz., Banking, Negotiable Instruments, Company, Industrial and Cooperative Laws, Cyber laws, Commerce/Property transactions, Rural non-life insurance, direct financing, staff matters and good experience in drafting various types of documents.

Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks

»For Protocol & Security Services: Selection will be through Interview of shortlisted candidates. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum experience in order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Interview commensurate with the number of vacancies.


3. NABARD Grade A Officer 2021 –  Interview

Interview – 25 Marks

(Note: Phase 2 Exam is only for RDBS, Rajbhasha & Legal. For P & SS, there will be only an interview round).

Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II – Main Examination and securing a sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview.

Note: 

  • For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty in Phase-I and Phase-II, both.
  • Cut-offs in Phase-I and Phase-II may be applied in two stages: (i) On scores in individual tests (Sectional Cut-off), (ii) On Total Score

3. Additional Allowances: Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance.

4. Gross Emoluments: Total monthly emoluments will be around Rs.70000/- at the present rate of dearness allowance.

5. Initial Monthly In-hand Salary: Rs. 60,000/-.
