The Competition Commission cleared Facebook's proposed acquisition of 9.99 per cent stake in Jio Platforms, the digital arm of Reliance Industries. The deal would bring together JioMart and Facebook's WhatsApp platform.

MSME, Minister Nitin Gadkari launched the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Sub-ordinate Debt, CGSSD.Under the scheme, Promoters of the MSMEs will be given credit equal to 15 percent of their stake or 75 lakh rupees whichever is lower.
