World Art Day is observed across the globe on 15 April to promote the development and appreciation of art. The day was established by the International Association of Art (IAA), a UNESCO partner, to raise international awareness about fine arts.The date was chosen to commemorate the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci.

Govt approves continuation of revamped Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan till March 2026

TCS-led consortium bags Rs 550-crore order to deploy 4G gears in BSNL

RBI imposes penalties on Axis Bank, IDBI Bank

Reserve Bank of India said it has imposed a penalty of Rs 93 lakh on Axis Bank for various violations, including KYC guidelines. The central bank has also slapped a fine of Rs 90 lakh on IDBI Bank. The penalties are based on deficiencies in regulatory compliance and is not intended to pronounce upon the validity of any transaction or agreement entered by customers.

RBI: NBFCs-UL, NBFCs-ML to have compliance function by April 1, CCO by Oct 1, 2023

Non banking finance companies in the Upper Layer and Middle Layer should put in place a board approved policy and compliance function including the appointment of a Chief Compliance Officer latest by April 1, 2023 and October 1, 2023, respectively. This follows the RBI’s guidelines on Scale Based Regulations for NBFCs.
