Who can apply for the LIC AAO Specialist Officer position?

Eligibility Criteria – Post-Wise

The eligibility for LIC AAO Specialist officer for various cadre is as below:

Posts Qualifications Eligibility Experience
AAO (Chartered Accountant) Bachelors Degree from a recognized Indian University/ Institutions and candidates should have passed the final examination of ICAI. The candidate should be an Associate Member of ICAI. Candidates should provide their membership number.
AAO (Actuarial) Bachelors Degree from a recognized Indian University/ Institutions Candidates should compulsorily have passed 6 or more papers of the examination of the Institute of the Actuaries of India/ Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, UK. A membership number will also be verified
AAO (Legal) Bachelors Degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University/Institute 3 years of Bar experience is essential
AAO (Rajbhasha) Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level OR Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level OR Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level
AAO (IT) Graduation degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT or Electronics), or MCA or MSC (Computer Science) from a recognized Indian University/ Institution.

 

FAQ – 1) Can I apply for more than 1 post?

Ans:- No, Candidates can apply for only one post. In the case of multiple applications, all the applications of the candidate will be summarily rejected.

LIC AAO Specialist Recruitment – Age Criteria

An applicant should not be below 21 years of age and not above 30 years of age calculated as per the date mentioned in the notification.

Certain age relaxation is also provided by the bank to certain categories of applicants.

  • Minimum Age – 21 years completed as on 01-Feb-2020
  • Maximum Age – 30 years 

(candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.02.1990 and not later than 01.02.1999 both days inclusive only are eligible )

  • You can then proceed to upload your scanned document.
  • Click preview before hitting the ‘Final Submit’ button. Ensure all the details are properly filled.

  • The payment can be made using Debit card, credit card (RuPay/Visa/Maestro/Mastercard), IMPS, internet banking, wallets.
  • After the completion of payment, e-receipt will be generated.

LIC AAO will be a 3 tiered recruitment exam. First-round will be prelims followed by mains which will include descriptive English topics.

Although the descriptive English marks will not be calculated in final selection bu tit is of qualifying nature.

What is the Salary of LIC AAO Specialist Officer?

In-hand Gross Salary

Basic pay of Rs. 32795/- per month in the scale of Rs. 32795- 1610(14) –55335– 1745(4) –62315 and other admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, etc wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city will be approximately Rs 57,000/– per month in ‘A’ Class city.

*A candidate after appointment shall be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining. This period may be extended up to two years.
